Pageant Girl

I just made that up… PIQ. Maybe it will stick. Pageant interviews, for me, used to be nerve racking. As a preteen through teen pageant years. The thought of the “unknown question” and all of the negative thoughts of “what could happen” during interview, I was a mess. Then one day, a judge asked me one question that I will never forget. How would you describe the sunset to a blind person? My confidence grew ten times that day. Just from one random question. My mind was blown.

Growing up as a pageant girl was.... okay. I really thought of the best word to use for that sentence. Okay was what I came up with. Please don't take it in a bad way. My childhood was awesome, however, as awesome as it was, there were times that I really wanted to just be a kid. If you read the "The winner is" post, you know I won my first pageant title at ten years old. In order to do that I had to rehearse and practice at home every single day. After homework was done, pag
