Listen to your Grandmother

My grandmother was a very wise woman. She was an artist, seamstress, style icon, and made the best sweet potato pie EVER.

She always gave me good advice when it came to how to dress and represent myself.

Mascara, and lipstick. In her case, red lipstick. That's all she used when she was going out to an event or party. My grandmother always looked so beautiful and confident.

I've always stuck to that motto... mascara and lipstick. I've add a few extra steps to the process, eyerbrow pencil, and lip liner. Makeup style may have changed but the principle has not.

These products have made me glow in ways I cannot explain. I love the Fenty mascara. It makes my eyelashes really pop, with a natural glam touch. My Anastasia eyebrow gel really gives my eyebrows that "I just got them done" look. (in my opinion)

My red lipstick is recent. I saw it in my mothers' purse (hehe)
