I came for Butter Beer

When your long term friend from college says "hey my family is going to Universal Studios.. would you like to come?" You say yes and book the flight.

Vicky and I go way back to good ole Georgian Court University. We've been friends for so long, we've become family. Her daughters and son are my nieces and nephew. We love to spoil them, and teach them life lessons.

This trip to Universal was extra special. We planned a surprise school pick up for each of them. It was a pleasant surprise indeed. Each sibling had a different reaction to me being there. I truly loved it. Auntie Alicia is here!

We drove to Florida and enjoyed all the views, naps, and fun car games. Six hours later, we get to the hotel and went right to sleep to wake up for our first day at Universal Studios!

This trip was for my nieces birthday she turned 10! Double digits! The day at Universal was incredible. (weather permiting) My favorite ride would have to be Hagrid's motor cycle coaster. Depending on where you sit matters. I never thought that would be a thing. But it is. (science) This ride goes too fast, there's a suddend drop, things jump at you, and it goes backwards... I loved it. I went on the ride several times, waited while the ride was not running due to weather for two and a half hours, just to ride it again. Yes it was worth it.

The best part about this trip... BUTTER BEER!! If I had a brownie to go with my butter beer. My phone would be on DND. Butter beer can change lives. It's gluten free, and tastes like the best frozen butter scotch you'll ever have.

I wonder if it would taste delicious with coffee? (just a thought)

Universal was my last vacation before starting a new season of dance classes at AMB Dance Theatre. Summer of 2026 was truly a great summer.
